APRON DEMAND SIMULATOR
Hourly Emissions
How can your airport reduce ground support equipment Capacity in a planned cost-effective manner?
How should the equipment fleet evolve overtime to meet emission goals within budget constraints.
Apron Demand Simulator
is a tool developed by logistic experts based on todays most innovative simulation tool Simio®.
AES uses the airport flight schedule to generate the required ground support equipment movements. These movement and operating times are used to estimate the emissions generated by the current equipment fleet. The emissions estimates are also generated for alternative fleet configurations which incorporate new low emission equipment.
A large variety of model statistics are available to compare alternatives on a cost/emissions bases.
Dr. K. Heinz Weigl, ESLA Solutions, Vienna Austri
Trying reaching these goals, a team of specialists with experience over 50 years developed a modular system called “Apron Forecast Suite, an innovative Simulator based system. able to handle large Data Tables“
Two tools are in the moment available, one is in development:
Apron Demand Analyzer
Apron Emission Simulator
Apron Energy Analyzer (*)
